Laziness

by

in

I read a sign on the side of the road, it said “I am not lazy I am determined to do nothing.” I consider myself lazy. Yes, I work 12-16 hours a day, I take my girls anywhere they need me to take them, I spent 16 months getting my degree online, I read, crochet, and now trying to work on this blog.

BUT… I am too lazy to get up in the morning, too lazy to do my hair when there is no special occasion to do so, too lazy to dress up or put on make-up. I am too lazy to do things with my daughter as often as I would like to. I am too lazy to hang out with people I know or to meet new ones. I am often too lazy to help my family around the house. (I am super lucky that they don’t complain about it!).

What is laziness to you? How do you fight it or accept it?
