Have you ever thought about going back to school years after high school graduation? Worried about being too old? Worries about not having enough money, time, and energy to complete your plan?

I have been through it! Going back to school for my second Bachelor was scary for many reasons. Being away from school for almost 15 years – does my brain still works? LOL. Being older than most students also put me under pressure of having to be smarter (just a general belief that older people ARE smarter). Working full time (plus being a salary employee means there could be 70-80-hour weeks) and being a single mom – would I have time and energy to study?

I was ready to quit as soon as I saw the syllabus! 🤣 At first, I did not want to tell my family and friends that I went back to school because of the fear of failing and giving up. But I am not the person who gives up easily, so I stuck around for 16 months and received my Bachelor’s in Psychology with 3.96 GPA. I am super proud of my accomplishment…. now to the next step….
